The much lauded Nissan GT-R has been out long enough to be pitted against what many consider to be its main arch rival, the Porsche 911 Turbo, by nearly every auto rag. Now Webrides.tv has come out with a video comparison between GT-R and Ford's late, great GT supercar. Both vehicles are owned by none other than Kazunori Yamauchi, the man behind the Gran Turismo series of driving sims. We won't tell you who won, but its obvious the competition must have been rough. Well the reason is their similar power figures and the mid $30,000 price tag that both vehicles come with.
Before you play the video, it will help to go thru the brief specs for both the cars. 2008 BMW 135i rear-driven comes with a 3.0 liter inline 6-cylinder engine that gives out 300 hp horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque. While the all-wheel-drive 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution MR is powered with 2.0 liter 4-cylinder 16-valve DOHC MIVEC engine that makes 295 hp horsepower and 300 ft-lbs. of torque.
