Video: BMW Shoot Out - Dinan 335i vs. Stock M3

Video: Dinan Tuned BMW 335i vs. Stock BMW M3 The Bavarian brothers from the house of BMW battle to claim supremacy in "Sibling Rivalry." Watch as Craig Stanton pushes each car to their limits as we find out which prevails - stock or not.
Just for your info, the test b/w Stage III Dinan 335i and the stock E92 M3 took place at Willow Springs Raceway.

The BMW 335i comes with a tweaked ECU, twin-turbo'd 3.0-liter inline-six. Dinan announced its Stage 3 package which includes a fully-adjustable suspension and a handful of engine mods that bring output up to 406 hp and a 460 lb.-ft. of torque at 4,300 RPM. This gives Dinan 335i an advantage of better torque and low curb-weight but you just can't ignore the power of M3.

To upgrade the Bimmer to Dinan Stage 3 specs cost about $14,000. Compare this to $56,500 for new M3 and you solve the puzzle. But if you don't like puzzles then just forget everything and enjoy the video.

Volkswagen's First Compact SUV: The New 2008 Model Tiguan
The 103kW 2.0TDI and 125kW TSI are delivered with six-speed manual transmissions as standard equipment. As an option, the Tiguan may be ordered with a six-speed tiptronic automatic, which is standard in the 147kW TSI model. The manual transmission can be driven at an engine speed of 1,000 rpm or vehicle speed of just 6.69 km/h, for example; this practically equals the crawler gear of a reduction gearbox. The automatic transmission has gear level pre-select; in off-road use, it prevents shifting to the next higher gear.

Some of the features of the Tiguan with 147kw TSI engine are: 17-inch "Boston" alloy wheels with size 235/55R17 tyres, chrome roof rails, tinted windows starting at the B-pillars (up to 65 percent light absorbing), sport seats with height-adjustable lumbar supports, folding front passenger seat, storage drawers under the front seats, folding table and storage pockets on the rear of the front seats and sports seats in upgraded cloth with Alcantara appliqués, and low tyre pressure indicator.

In the following videos the European model of VW Tiguan (manual) has been used for the review purpose. The same model has been launched in Australia with slightly different tuning.

Test Drive of 2009 Korean-Spec Hyundai Genesis Sedan: Video

In this seven-minute drive-along video, the reviewer takes out a 3.3-liter V-6 version of the Genesis for a run through some mountain roads and highways, and finds the car largely lacking. While we feel compelled to mention that the car being driven is different than what we’ll have available in the U.S., it would be fair to say that this review lowers expectations just a tad.
